Chris and Rebekah have such a unique love story. Rebekah was born in Haiti and adopted into an American family when she was a child. In October of 2018, she and Chris had the opportunity to go on a mission trip to Haiti. They worked at an orphanage in Haiti throughout the week. It was the first time Rebekah had been back in Haiti, and she also met her birth mother for the first time. At the end of the week, Chris proposed to her with a Haitian made ring and a room full of Haitian children. Please, tell me a cuter proposal story <3
August 10, 2019, was the day they became one as husband and wife. Their ceremony and reception were held at the gorgeous Piper Glen Golf Course, in Springfield, IL. The ceremony was outside and had the golf course in the background. It may have been a bit toasty out, but it was an absolutely beautiful view. The couple shared communion as their unity ceremony. They broke bread and prayed over one another as they enter this covenant. It was truly a beautiful thing to witness.
Their caterer for the evening was the one and only Qdoba! Man, was I excited :) I found out that I am not the only one who prefers Qdoba over Chipotle. They had a line just like the restaurant and we could pick exactly what we wanted in our bowl. Along with a delicious burrito bowl, they also have various types of cheesecake, which I honestly love more than cake, so that again was a huge plus. <3
The evening ended with heartfelt speeches, joyful tears, laughter, and great dancing. The entire day, from start to finish was a blast and so beautiful. It truly was a perfect day. Congratulations Chris and Rebekah!

"Allison captured my wedding in August and she did an amazing job! She had great communication throughout the whole process and really focused to capture the day exactly how we wanted. Not only was she personally so great to work with, but her editing was also absolutely beautiful. When I got the pictures back, they were better than I could have ever imagined. She captured great candid shots as well as great posed shots. She was so sweet and so great to work with!"
