You know that couple you met for the first time and you honestly thought they were siblings? Yes, that couple was Brenden and Savanna for me. I thought this not because they looked alike, but because they were basically the same person from cover to cover. Their mannerisms and humor were the exact same. These two are completely and incomparably perfect for one another. If they aren't, I honestly don't know who is. Brenden and Savanna were high school sweethearts that finally tied the knot. They have been together for so many years now, I honestly can't keep track.
I was ecstatic when they asked me to photograph their wedding because I knew it would be absolutely beautiful and so much fun, and boy was I right. Their ceremony was held at their hometown church in Herscher, IL and the reception was held at The Majestic in Kankakee, IL. The Majestic opened its doors in 1912 as a place for entertainment for the town of Kankakee. Since then, it has become a classic and beautiful wedding venue. With its rich history and timeless aesthetics, it has become one of my favorite spots to photograph a wedding reception. They also had craft soda by Grapes + Hops, amazing fajitas by La Villetta, and great music by Hyper DJ Service.
This was, by far, the best wedding I could have ended 2018 with. Thank you
